DDU-GKY

About the Program

The Ministry of Rural Development (MoRD) announced the Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Grameen Kaushalya Yojana (DDU-GKY) Antyodaya Diwas, on 25th September 2014. DDU-GKY is a part of the National Rural Livelihood Mission (NRLM), tasked with the dual objectives of adding diversity to the incomes of rural poor families and cater to the career aspirations of rural youth.

Joseph SriHarsha & Mary Indraja Educational Society(JSMIES) as authorized under the DDU-GKY initiative, is working towards providing free training and placement for rural youth belonging to families living below poverty line and aged between 18 years and 35 years. They will be provided to choose within 12+ emerging technologies and get trained in them. This program spans across 6 states as on Nov 2022.

Joseph SriHarsha & Mary Indraja Educational Society (JSMIES) have already made a significant progress by training and placing students in reputed software & non software organisations across India in past few months & are committed to make an impact in the students’ lives with quality training and placement activities.
