The Ministry of Rural Development (MoRD) announced the Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Grameen Kaushalya Yojana (DDU-GKY) Antyodaya Diwas, on 25th September 2014. DDU-GKY is a part of the National Rural Livelihood Mission (NRLM), tasked with the dual objectives of adding diversity to the incomes of rural poor families and catering to the career aspirations of rural youth.
Joseph SriHarsha & Mary Indraja Educational Society(JSMIES) as authorized under the DDU-GKY initiative, is working towards providing free training and placement for rural youth belonging to families living below the poverty line and aged between 18 years and 35 years. They will be provided to choose from 12+ emerging technologies and get trained in them. This program spans across 6 states as on Nov 2022.
